Hi there! I'm a part time lifestyle photographer, full-time Sonographer, and proud mom. Photography has always been more than just a hobby for me. It's a way to capture life's fleeting, beautiful moments and preserve them for years to come. Whether it's a candid smile, a quiet glance, or the joy of a growing family, I love turning everyday moments into lasting memories. My work allows me to blend my artistic passion with the stories of real people, and I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love while juggling the beautiful chaos of motherhood and a busy career in healthcare.

My approach

My approach to lifestyle photography is all about capturing authentic, unscripted moments that reflect real connection and emotion. I am to create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere where you can simply be yourself. Whether that means laughing with your kids, snuggling with your partner, or enjoying a quiet moment alone. I use natural light and minimal posing to keep things organic, letting your story unfold naturally in front of the lens. For me, it's not about perfection, it's about preserving the beauty of everyday life in a way that feels genuine, timeless and deeply personal.

The studio

 

Studio Elm is a bright, Welcoming natural light studio located in Elk River, MN - Thoughtfully designed for timeless, genuine photography sessions. With soft neutral tones, beautiful natural light, and a cozy atmosphere, the studio creates the perfect setting for capturing authentic moments and meaningful connections.

The space was curated with simplicity and comfort in mind, featuring clean backdrops, minimal props, and a warm, airy aesthetic that photographs beautifully year-round. Whether you're celebrating a newborn, milestone, maternity, family, motherhood, or branding session, studio Elm offers a calm and relaxed environment where you can simply enjoy the experience.

The studio does have a private bathroom/changing room, baby changing station, and a refreshment station with water and coffee.
